Inventory Control

Inventory Control
AFM's a proven, cost-effective and scalable system for processing, distributing and tracking passes from receipt and/or production to point of sale. It includes dynamic reporting and optional interfaces. It can be customized to mesh with your current policies and procedures to ensure efficient distribution and control of all enrolled fare media.

AFM will provide complete inventory control of our Transit's ticket stock. POS terminals can be the principal method of distribution at the outset. The system can easily be expanded to accommodate additional channels, including vendor sales, government, and promotions.
Included are:

  • Processes with validation and batching of all incoming pre-printed, pre-encoded passes.
  • Ability to read and record all passes to the system either by individual or batch entry with an exception report is generated for any missing sequential numbers.
  • Ability to bundle passes into serialized batches of user-defined variable quantities (10, 20, 100), depending on the distribution demands at the point-of-sale locations and vendor sales. The batches are then banded and barcode labeled awaiting distribution.
  • Managing and tracking of all items upon receiving at Cash Counting.
  • Automatic assignment of account code, GL number, pre-encoded serial number, price, and on-hand quantity for all inventoried items.
  • Ability to create additional point-of-sales or vender-sales locations as needed.
  • Monitoring of all inventory throughout fare media life cycle
  • Reports generated by item, location, serial number, barcode batch, or by dollar value
  • Reports to assess inventory liability and organization-wide or by individual inventory location
